The University of Leeds has placed in the top 3 and is now the No. 1 Russell Group University for Student Experience in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2018.
The results are based on the responses of 20,251 undergraduates from 116 different universities in the UK. The students were asked to describe how their university contributed to a positive or negative experience on a seven-point scale which ranged from “strongly agree” to “strongly disagree”. The questions in the survey have remained unchanged since 2005 to allow comparisons across years.
The University of Leeds proved very successful this year thanks to its vibrant city location and impressive facilities, ranking highly in a number of categories including 5th for Student Welfare, 2nd for University Facilities, and 2nd for Societal Experience.
